Attention. The selectors have a very difficult job so please be patient and accepting of thier efforts and selection.
After a 20 odd year break, Balnarrings top side in Saturday Pennant has secured a Grand Final win for the Club.
In a season that saw only 3 losses for the year and no losses at home they headed to West Rosebud on a mission.
Bring a flag home to Balnarring.
A hard fought win against Rosebud in blustery conditions on a slick green saw Balnarring emerge triumphant and elated.
Well done to everyone.
It was also great to have our 2nd and 3rd sides into the finals as well.
Hopefully they can go a step or two further next year.
Div 3/2 are the Midweek Grand Final Winners for 2017/18.
Balnarring Bowls Club congratulates them all on a wonderful season.

In the State Novice Finals held at Mulgrave Bowls Club on Sunday 5 Feb 2017
Jackie played and beat Mary Anne Hansen from the Lara Bowling Club Geelong 21-14
Unfortunately she then lost in the Quarter Finals to Beverly Reichmann from the Rutherglen Bowling Club 21-16
in a game that went for two hours 45 minutes and being the last game to finish.
Once again a fantastic effort from Jackie. Great work.

What a pleasant surprise when out of the blue a group of students arrived and asked if they could present us with something. After attending earlier in the year they went back to shool and organised a fundraiser to show their appreciation for using our facilities. We were so very proud when presented with a cheque for $50 that they raised. What a great effort and we love having them here. Thanks to everyone at Balnarring Primary School.

Balnarring Bowls was recently visited by children from Balnarring Primary School who participated in a fantastic afternoon. The purpose of the day was to introduce the students to lawn bowls and encouraged a hands on approach.
With younger bowlers joining clubs and quickly moving up the ranks in competition, it made great sense for us to get these youngsters involved and to demonstrate the enjoyment in "having a roll".
Many students showed great promise and they all seemed to enjoy themselves.
